Cameron has a Yale degree in English and an MBA in Management from New York University.
Currently, he is Founder/CEO, Sustainable Energy Management Group LLC, Northborough, MA
His Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial experiences create his focus of economic productivity, which led him to his fourth entrepreneurial effort – cutting costs and increasing revenues using sustainable energy sources and products.
Over ten years of sustainable energy experience includes: ground mount solar, African solar, energy measurement and tracking system, electricity procurement services, co-generation, and energy benefits analyses.
Prior affiliations include Sustainable Energy Solutions, TelePower, Computer Security Products, Computer Security Placements, Computer Security Institute, and Johns Manville Corp.
He has spoken for industry groups, volunteered with TechSandBox’s CleanTech SIG, and is a Board member of Prospeed Communications, Inc.
Luis is currently Co-Founder and COO of Sustainable Energy Management Group.
Prior to this he was Executive Operations Director for the Boston-Globe/ NY Times organizations with Plant, Production and Facilities responsibilities for many years.
His varied responsibilities provided extensive experience including championing and implementing energy conservation and sustainability projects, energy commodity procurement, and evaluating alternative energy opportunities (solar, co-generation, etc.). He is a strong advocate for implementing economically viable energy programs and helping resource challenged organizations navigate through the options.
Luis has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from Northeastern and has volunteered for TechSandbox, Renewable Energy Initiative and other organizations and is currently a member of Toastmasters.
