Massachusetts and the National Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) want farmers to preserve their land and keep it in the family.
We agree. Our programs can provide a variety of canopy types which allow enough light for produce and/or efficient and safe herd movement, so your farm can continue to grow.
Working with our partners, you can take part in a 20+ year lease which will guarantee a significant revenue stream for you over that period.
What do you have to do?
- Enter into a lease option. This allows us to begin the design and permitting process.
- Work with NRCS and our partners to develop an approved plan for the dual use of the leased property.
- Maintain the crops and/or herds on the land. Our partners will take care of the infrastructure and solar equipment.
